Biodegradable Trash Bags
If you’re looking for a plastic alternative for trash bags (if you’re not, you should be…), let me suggest corn! The BioBag Tall Kitchen Trash Bags are starch based and 100% biodegradable and compostable. But don’t worry, they won’t start breaking down when you put in your wet trash. These bags must be exposed to nature’s elements and micro-organisms before they break down. In other words don’t use them to store dirt.
Lie to you, I will not. At $5.39 for a dozen 13 gallon bags they aren’t cheap. Consider it’s estimated one plastic bag can take 100 years to degrade and possibly 100,000 marine animals die annually because of our plastic debris and you see our move from plastic is necessary.
With this in mind, won’t you join me in disposing of your household waste responsibly?
If not a bio-bag, then I urge you to find another responsible alternative to plastic bags.
