Klean Kanteen is recalling their Sport Cap 2.0. If it's dropped, it can break or crack leaving a chocking hazard. They are being proactive about it as I found out about the recall when I received a packet in the mail from Klean Kanteen. Included were a shipping label, mailer for return, and letter explaining the recall. That was easy! To register for the recall and have a packet sent to you, call 1-877-546-9063 or register online. Please note, the recall only involves the sport caps.

Eco Countertops

Eco by Cosentino is a company that creates beautiful and eco-friendly counter tops. Its counter tops come in a variety of colors and are made from 75% post-industrial or post-consumer materials. Most of the materials used in their product are glass, porcelain, corn, stone scraps, and mirror. This company provides a use for old glass that can serve seemingly no other purpose. This is no doubt a great encouragement to both hippie and fashionista home-owners alike. Who would’ve thought that such a boring and typical household item could be so chic?

Organic Art?

New York City’s Mad Museum is changing the way we look at art. With its new exhibit, Dead or Alive, coming this fall, it’s attracting a very different crowd than that of your average fine art gallery. This exhibit boasts over 30 contemporary artists from all over the world all using parts of living or once living organisms to create 3-dimensional art.
